TX3 Funding Program Overview

An overview of TX3 Funding

Updated over a week ago

Welcome to TX3 Funding, where we empower traders to achieve their financial goals through a structured and supportive trading environment. Our program is designed to assess and enhance your trading skills, leading to potential funding opportunities. Here's an overview of the journey you can expect with TX3 Funding:

1. Evaluation Stage

The Evaluation Stage is our initial assessment phase, allowing you to demonstrate your trading abilities within a virtual account. This stage has no set time limit; the focus is on meeting specific objectives and showcasing consistent performance.

Objectives:

  • Profit Target: Achieve the designated profit goal for your account size.

  • Maximum Drawdown: Adhere to the maximum allowable loss from your account’s peak balance to manage risk exposure.

  • Daily Loss Limit: Ensure daily losses do not exceed the set limit to protect against significant downturns.

  • Consistency Rule: Maintain steady trading habits by avoiding large swings in trade sizes or strategies.

2. Simulated Funded Stage

Upon successfully completing the Evaluation Stage, you progress to the Simulated Funded Stage. Here, you continue trading in a simulated environment that mirrors real market conditions, allowing you to demonstrate consistent performance and adhere to TX3's policies.

Key Features:

  • End-of-Day (EOD) Trailing Drawdown: A trailing drawdown that adjusts with positive performance, providing a cushion as you grow your account.

  • Contract Limits: Specific limits are imposed based on your account size to promote disciplined trading.

  • 40% Consistency Rule: In the simulated funded stage, no single day’s profit can be equal to or exceed 40% of total profits. If you exceed this threshold, it will restrict your ability to withdraw profits until additional trading gains are made.

3. Live Funded Account

After demonstrating consistent profitability in the Simulated Funded Stage, you will be invited to transition to a Live Funded Account, where you trade in real markets with actual capital.

Key Features:

  • Static Drawdown: A fixed maximum loss limit to help manage risk, designed to protect both the trader and firm capital.

  • Customizable Daily Loss Limit: Set a daily loss limit based on your risk tolerance and trading style.

  • Scaling Opportunities: Consistent performance can lead to increased contract size, enhancing profit potential.

  • Dedicated Support Team: Gain access to a specialized support team focused on assisting live traders.

General Guidelines Across All Stages

  • Trading Hours: Trading is allowed from 6:00 PM EST (Globex Open) until 4:10 PM EST (NY session close). Positions can be held throughout this window, with automatic position closures occurring at 4:10 PM EST on regular trading days.

  • News Trading Policy: News trading is allowed across all stages. Traders are permitted to place and manage trades during Tier 1 news events, including FOMC Meetings and Employment Reports. While trading during news is allowed, traders are expected to manage risk responsibly and understand the increased volatility associated with such events.

  • Prohibited Trading Strategies: Certain strategies, including micro scalping, high-frequency trading (HFT), and using news bursts as a primary trading tactic, are prohibited.
